My latest work will be exhibited in the Stairwell Gallery of the Bangor Public Library from April 1-30, 2010. Please stop by on Saturday, April 3 between 10:00 a.m. and noon to browse the exhibit and watch a pastel demonstration. Pastel Experience  On Saturday, January 9, 2010 we shared our first in-studio pastel experience. On Saturday December 5, 2009 guests gathered at our home to browse this year's newest artwork. Mini Workshop Sessions  I now offer 2 hour mini workshops for those wanting to try soft pastels. First annual Silent Art Auction  On Saturday August 8, 2009 The weather was perfect, the crowd was lively, and our first silent art auction was a success! Click here to view the event. Express Yourself at the Library I invited all interested teens to join me at the Bangor Public Library  On Monday, July 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Teens had an opportunity to try soft pastels. No experience necessary. All materials were provided by the artist. Pastel Experimentation at the Bangor Public Library  On Saturday, April 4, 2009 I invited the public to join me in trying soft pastels. Congratulations to Anita Gleason who was the winner of this year's original painting giveaway, One Step at a Time.  Art Unveiling My artwork at the new Hollywood Slots facility in Bangor, Maine was unveiled on June 29, 2008. It was a wonderful afternoon of celebration with family, friends and supporters. The art, Just Add Water, is a 14' x 32' multiple-panel polyptich rendered in aquacryl, gold leaf and soft pastel.
