| Naming Dawn Blossoms |
| Artist's comment: This painting was a gift to Dawn, my sister-in-law. I painted it with her in mind and called it Dawn Blossoms for several reasons. First the obvious, she grew and nurtured the beautiful yellow begonias. Second, the yellow flowers are reminiscent of the dawn, the sunrise, blossoming to begin the day. Third, the begonia flowers were in full bloom and thriving last spring when her beautiful son, Seth, arrived. Since then a part of her, the nurturing and mothering part, has blossomed. |
