Only two turns from Interstate 95.
Easy directions. Exit Interstate 95 at Etna-Dixmont Exit #167 and turn left towards Dixmont onto Route 143. Travel down Route 143 three-and-a-half miles. Turn right onto the North Road. Travel two miles down the North Road to the red-cedar-sided house on the right at 298 North Road and follow signs or the parking attendant, Lucas Ferguson, to a parking place. |

| Detailed directions. Exit Interstate 95 at Etna-Dixmont, Exit 167 at Route 143. Coming from the either the south or north when you reach the end of the ramp at the exit turn left onto Route 143 toward Dixmont. Go about three-and-a-half miles. You will pass the intersection for the County Road and then the Etna Dixmont Elementary School on your left. The North Road is the first paved right after the school. Shortly after passing the school, perhaps only one-quarter mile you will go up a slight rise, and see a sign for the North Road. The street sign may be bent over. Turn right onto the North Road. Once on the North Road, travel about two miles. You will go past a sprawling horse field on your right with a wooden sign that says Ben Loch. Go down a slope, across a small brook, and at the top of the rise on the right you will see our red-cedar-sided house at 298 North Road. Follow signs or the parking attendant, Lucas Ferguson, for parking. If you find yourself reaching Route 7 at the end of the North Road, you've gone too far.
