 This collection of 11 paintings began as possible illustrations for a children's book. These paintings have since been redone and will not appear in the final book proposal. They are now being made available for public viewing for the first time. The basic concept book is for young art lovers who are learning colors and counting. My collaboration with children's author Bruce McMillan, has gone through numerous revisions. My illustrations are now complete, the book will be redesigned, and ready to submit to publishers. |

 The painting is not finished... |
 ...but it's time to pack up and go. |
 The piece progressed this far during the nearly two hour demonstration. |
 Brenda duplicated the set-up and the lighting conditions as best she could back in her studio... and completed the painting there. |
