| First Annual Summer Art Auction |

| On Saturday August 8, 2009, friends and fellow art lovers from near and far joined us for our first annual summer art auction. What a colorful crowd. |

|||
| Under blue skies and among the blossoming sunflowers, auction goers enjoyed frosty refreshments while vying for their favorite works of art. |
|||
 |
|||
| 50 paintings were displayed all for a beginning bid of $50. |
|||
 |
|||
| For a leisurely hour, guests had a chance to enjoy refreshments, preview the paintings, and make some notes before the fast and furious bidding commenced. |
|||
 |
|||
| Bidding began promptly at 1:00. This was done one table (five paintings) at a time. Thanks to Erin Misek and her bull horn, the bidding proceeded smoothly, quickly and with much good humor and friendly competition. Guests left with original artwork for themselves as well as gifts for friends and family members. |
