On Saturday, January 9, I held the first of several Pastel Experiences in my studio/home. I now offer 2 hour mini workshops for those wanting to try soft pastels. |
 I was joined by Kimberly and Jen. |
|
 We all began with pears... |
|
 |
|
 At the end of a full hour of painting together, we had each completed these pear studies. |
|
 For the second hour, Jen and Kimberly then each selected and set up their own still life compositions to work from. |
|
 Our morning of painting together was an opportunity to experiment with pastels, try sanded paper and talk about art in general and soft pastels in particular. |

If you would like to have your own Pastel Experience, please sign up for a mini workshop, here. You may sign up for as many sessions as you like. Space is limited so please sign up early. Remaining available sessions are: April 10, 2010 May 1, 2010 May 8, 2010 May 22, 2010 Sessions run on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at my studio home in Dixmont.
