Ms. Jerome is Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maine in Orono where she teaches drawing and painting. Nina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art from Mount Holyoke College and a Masters in Art Education from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibited in many individual and group shows and has been commissioned for several Percent-for-Art projects in Maine. One of her latest exhibits was at the New O'Farrell Gallery in Brunswick, Maine. Her subject matter is predominantly landscape, but over the years she has completed a series of paintings about such subjects as the building of a local bridge, the everyday domestic rituals with children, and most recently, the process of driving in the rain. Her painting reflects the events and activities of her life and the visual qualities of her surroundings. She lives in Bangor, Maine with her husband, Robert Sutcliffe, and has two grown children.

Wally Mason Mr. Mason has been the Director of the University of Maine Museum of Art since 1996. Prior to serving at the University of Maine, he was the Director of the Selby Gallery at the Ringling School of Art and Design and he was Curator of Exhibitions at the Florida Gulf Coast Art Museum, He holds a BA from Beloit College and an MFA from Indiana University. Originally from Ohio, Mason has been an artist for the past thirty years. He has taught art courses at Western Michigan University, the University of Vermont, the University of South Florida, and the University of Idaho. He teaches two beginning drawing classes a year at the University of Maine. His photography focuses on scenes and objects taken during the night. As a working artist, Mr. Mason has exhibited extensively throughout the US. His work was part of the group exhibition, Sites Unseen, at Colby College Museum of Art and part of the 2003 and 2005 Portland Museum of Art Biennials. He lives in Old Town, Maine with his wife, Judith Fasso-Mason, and their nine-year-old daughter.
